A growing hospitality group based in Irvine, CA<\/b>, is seeking a Korean -English Bilingual HR Manager<\/b> to lead and manage all human resources functions across their hotel and restaurant operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional<\/b> who can build and oversee HR systems and practices in a small corporate team<\/b> with no existing HR department.<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

  • Act as the sole HR leader<\/b> for the U.S. office, overseeing all HR functions including employee relations, compliance, recruitment, and performance management.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices<\/b> aligned with hospitality operations.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Manage full -cycle recruitment and onboarding<\/b> for both corporate and field -level roles.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Handle benefits administration<\/b>, including health insurance, 401(k), paid leave, and employee perks.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws<\/b>, including wage and hour regulations.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Provide guidance to leadership and department heads on performance reviews, employee discipline, and workplace policies<\/b>.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Support payroll coordination and maintain employee records in accordance with HR compliance standards.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Promote a positive, respectful, and legally compliant workplace culture<\/b>.<\/span>

    Qualifications:<\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • 10–25 years of progressive HR experience<\/span><\/b>, including at least 3 years in an HR management role<\/b>.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience in the hospitality industry<\/b> (hotels, restaurants, or food service) is strongly preferred.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Bilingual in Korean and English<\/span><\/b> (both written and verbal) required.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • In -depth knowledge of California and federal employment laws<\/b>.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem -solving skills.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to work independently and establish HR structure in a small, hands -on environment<\/b>.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience with HR software, payroll systems, or employee management platforms<\/b> is a plus.<\/span>
