About the Role:
This isn’t your average HR role. In this position as an HR Manager, you’ll spend 80% of your time focused on full-cycle recruiting—from sourcing and screening to building new pipelines and partnerships. The remaining 20% is all about creating a best-in-class employee experience through onboarding, engagement, and day-to-day HR operations.
You’ll be a central player in shaping our workforce at one of the Southeast’s top hospitality destinations.
What You’ll Do:
- Own and manage high-volume recruiting for hospitality roles (front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, leadership, and more)
- Use LinkedIn, Indeed, and other sourcing platforms to identify, engage, and convert top talent
- Build and nurture talent pipelines through community relationships with local schools, colleges, churches, and workforce programs
- Develop and refine recruiting tools, workflows, and metrics using applicant tracking systems (ATS) (experience with UKG/UltiPro preferred)
- Support general HR functions including onboarding, employee communications, and engagement initiatives
- Collaborate across departments and levels—becoming a trusted HR partner to hiring managers and senior leadership
What You Bring to the Table:
- 3+ years of experience in HR, talent acquisition, or recruiting (strongly preferred: hotels, restaurants, or other high-volume settings)
- Tech-forward and highly proficient in recruiting platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and others. Interest in learning and adapting to changing tech resources like ChatGPT, AI, etc.
- Experience with and willingness to stay ahead of the curve with ATS platforms (UKG/UltiPro experience strongly preferred)
- A strategic mindset with the ability to build scalable systems and drive recruiting innovation
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills—you quickly build rapport with everyone, from candidates to executives
