Your presence will strengthen trust, improve morale, and make HR accessible day-to-day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Benefits Education and Enrollment Assistance — Explain benefit plans, guide employees through enrollment and life-event changes, coordinate with outside benefits vendors, and run regular benefits orientations and Q&A sessions.

  • Promotions and Job Changes — Draft promotion letters, update job descriptions, coordinate compensation changes with payroll and leadership, and ensure documentation is complete and timely.

  • Employee Relations and Case Management — Receive and document employee concerns, conduct initial fact-finding, maintain confidential records, and follow up to ensure issues are resolved or properly escalated.

  • Onboarding and Offboarding Support — Assist with new hire orientation, benefits setup, and exit interviews; ensure a consistent, welcoming experience for employees.

  • Policy Communication and Compliance — Help communicate company policies, support compliance with basic employment regulations, and coordinate with the external HR system for legal or complex compliance matters.

  • Employee Engagement and Morale Initiatives — Partner with managers to identify morale issues, suggest improvements, and help run recognition, wellness, or development activities that boost workplace culture.

Preferred Certifications and Knowledge

  • Certifications: PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with benefits plans (medical, dental, vision, retirement), leave administration, and common employment law basics.

  • Response Time — Average time to acknowledge and begin addressing employee concerns.
  • Accuracy — Error rate in promotion and benefits paperwork.
  • Engagement Activities — Number and impact of morale-boosting initiatives implemented.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits (administered through our external HR system).
  • A supportive team environment where your role directly improves employee experience and morale.
  • Opportunities to lead local engagement and development programs.
