Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking two HR Specialists for the Human Capital Management department in University Human Resources. This position, is under the direct supervision of the Director Human Capital Management. Among the key duties of this position are the following: Reviews actions requested by departments to be submitted for HCM processing. Completes data input through templates for daily, individual, salary and data actions for faculty and staff from hire through termination. Submits to the HR Approver for review and submission through the HCM Unit or directly to the Payroll Database. Reviews documentation for compliance with federal and state regulations, university policy, and bargaining units’ contracts before entering the request into the workflow. Monitors workflow and follows up to ensure the completion of tasks within deadlines. Maintains and updates all databases and programs needed to execute actions and track and report on activities. Ensures good customer service and the confidentiality of work, databases, and communications. Assists with the review, update, and documentation of new procedures for work. Runs reports, tracks data, reviews, and works to ensure accurate submissions within deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management systems, university HR and payroll processing, and with MS Access. PeopleSoft HRMS experience.
