About This Role

The purpose of the position is to manage the full recruiting lifecycle process through strong partnership with human capital services and hiring managers for assigned colleges/departments/units. Counsel hiring colleges/departments/units on the university’s hiring processes and procedures to ensure appropriate compliance. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Worksite Description

This position is Remote eligible. Must live within 60 miles of Manhattan to be present for local recruiting events and meetings.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree
  two years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in recruitment for multiple positions in various disciplines and locations.
  Experience managing full recruitment life cycle.
  Experience using applicant tracking software.
  Ability to initiate and maintain professional relationships with diverse groups and individuals;
  Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, to work collaboratively, and to garner the trust of others;
  Ability to handle confidential information;
  Possess knowledge of employment-related laws and recruitment best practices.
  PHR/SPHR Certification.
  SHRM-CP/SCP Certification.
  Experience in higher education.
  Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or related field.
