As a member of the Human Resources Division, the Human Resources Specialist – Organizational & Employee Development plays a key role in strengthening the City’s culture, talent, and organizational effectiveness. As a member of the Human Resources Division, this position leads the design and delivery of city-wide learning, employee development, and training strategies; and contributes to core HR operations. This role partners closely across departments to build an engaging, inclusive, and growth-oriented workplace. The position also involves other human resources projects and activities.
Hiring Range - $$78,097 - $89,812
Full Salary Range - $78,097 - $113,242
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organizational & Employee Development
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree in related field and three years’ experience with employee development, training and organizational development or Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience with employee development, training and organizational development.
Experience with learning management systems and virtual learning platforms.
Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design and change management frameworks
