Responsibilities

The HR Specialist supports the Human Resources department through a variety of administrative and strategic actions. Provides excellent service in the areas of talent acquisition, employee relations and other daily functions. Possesses a demonstrated ability to proactively and effectively communicate, accurately process transactions, critically think through issues, answer inquiries, prioritize and ensure follow-up when needed. Demonstrates quality and professionalism with all customers, providing positive first impressions of CHS and the Human Resources department.

 

  • Temporary assignment spanning 9 to 12 months. The role includes accrued sick time only. It does not include full-time benefits or regular PTO.
  • Hours: 8-hour shifts on a rotating coverage schedule. The earliest opening shift begins at 7:30 AM, and the latest closing shift ends at 5:00 PM. 
  • Full-time position located in downtown Fresno.

 

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree may substitute years of experience.

 

Experience:

  • Two (2) years of experience in Human Resources or Customer Service supporting high volume processes. 
  • Experience with Microsoft 365.
  • Prior experience or education in Human Resources preferred. 
  • Healthcare experience is preferred.
