The Human Resources Assistance (TEMPORARY) provides administrative support to the Human Resources Team while aligning tasks with the team goals and business objectives. Is a point of reference for questions from staff and team members. Performs more routine Human Resources tasks.
Required Skills
- Provides administrative support to the Human Resources Team.
- Acts as a first point of contact for questions from company team members.
- Communicates effectively in person, through phone, email and correspondence in a professional manner.
- Assist in maintaining Human Resources data with current employee information and files employee records for the department.
- Assists in the recruitment process by distributing resumes, scheduling candidate interviews and other routine recruitment tasks.
- Assist with onboarding such as gathering necessary documents for new hire, preparing room for orientation and scheduling Day 1 activities.
- Prepare new employee files and ensures that all required documentation is in the file for completeness.
- Must carefully handle sensitive and confidential information/situations and documents.
- Responsible for orderliness of work area and proper care of equipment and materials.
- Will use Word, Excel and similar Microsoft programs.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. Work hours may vary based on department needs.
- Various other duties as assigned by Human Resources leadership.
