Primary Function: The primary function of the HR Assistant position is to assist with the human resource processes for the organization. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including personnel policy updates, record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ability to work as a team to accomplish iSucceed’s mission/goals and carry out Strategic Plan priorities relevant to your role
Follows the Idaho Code of Ethics for education professionals
Provide general administrative and clerical support including filing, scanning, and copying.
Maintain and organize files, records, and documents
Prepare and maintain special internal reports as requested by the HR department.
Assists employees with access to policy requests
Assist employees with required HR/Business documents by directing them to the appropriate person, providing them with the proper forms, and tracking, submitting, and filing completed forms.
Assists with internal audits and maintains current human resource files to ensure compliance with laws, policies, and procedures
Distributes and collects all background check information and submits new-employee background checks to the state Board of Education.
Assists with recruiting efforts and screening potential employees
Assists with onboarding new employees
Assists in data entry, and maintenance of employee information and records in the HR and software system. Maintains school electronic records.
Maintain a very high level of integrity and trust to handle confidential employee and company information.
Assists with employee benefits enrollments, terminations, and updates for employees. Processes required documents through benefit providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and main contact for employee questions.
Assists with maintaining the contents of all personnel files both physical and electronic
Assist with special projects.
Aids in specific assigned tasks for HR and financial data as requested
Assists HR Manager with employee event planning
Travel as needed statewide or as applicable, for conferences
