Job Summary: HR Assistant provides administrative support to the human resources function in HRIS and staffing/employment. Maintains employee files. Inputs employee personal data into the human resources information system (HRIS). Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, job requisitions, change-of-status, terminations, etc.
Work Arrangement:Ā It is a hybrid role. The selected candidate is required to be in the office in coordination with the team's schedule and the business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Ā
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate degree preferred.
Skill: Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
Job Complexity: Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
Supervision: Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
