What you need:
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources or related area is preferred and PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
  • Requires one or more years of experience in Human Resources.   
  • Requires experience with recruitment and using social media to promote jobs and company culture. 
  • Requires excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi tasks. 
  • Experience with Oracle, HCM, UKG Dimensions/Kronos, Relias or other HRIS, timekeeping and training systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite- Word, Excel, and Power Point. Prefer experience with Canva. 
  • Must be a self-starter.  
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, and management. 
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Human Resources Assistant:
  • Assume responsibility for all post offer / pre- employment checks (criminal background, abuse and licensure checks, drug testing, physical are requested and completed post hire and documented in the employee’s personnel file.
  • Provide all eligible new hires benefits packets and ensure receipt documentation is placed in file.
  • Enter new hires and status changes in HRIS system.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation(s) with the community leadership team and with new hires.
  • Track new hire and annual training requirements. 
  • Tracks employee renewals for specific certifications/licenses.
  • Tracks 90-day evaluations and departmental on-boarding checklist.
  • Serve on the safety and culture committee. 
  • Assist with planning and preparation of employee engagement functions at the Community.
  • Serve as back up for payroll processing.
  • Serve as back up to front desk.

Salary: Starting at $24 per hour

Status: Full-Time

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
