Job Title: Human Resources Assistant
Job Summary: IBLW Holdings LLC at Lake Winnepesaukah is seeking a detail-oriented and approachable Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations in a fast-paced, seasonal amusement park environment. This role plays a key part in assisting with employee onboarding, recordkeeping, recruitment support, and general HR administrative duties, while helping foster a positive and compliant workplace culture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.
- Support employee onboarding and orientation programs.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating employee training sessions and development programs.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR information.
- Help with HR-related projects and initiatives as needed.
Education & Experience:
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Human Resources Certifications (SHRM, aPHR, and/or PHR) is preferred, but not required.
- Prior experience in an administrative or HR support role is an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Office-based role with frequent interaction with employees and management.
- May require occasional walking throughout park grounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods.
- Flexible scheduling may be required during peak operating seasons.
