We have an open opportunity for a People & Compliance Assistant.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The People & Compliance Assistant s responsible for providing support in daily People & Compliance activities as well as being a liaison between the company and employees.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Assist with day-to-day operations of the P&C department
Provide clerical and administrative support to the P&C department
Compile and update employee records electronically and within the HRIS (UKG)
Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, separations etc.)
Process monthly reports for corporate office (absenteeism, safety, turnover, ESG)
Assist with coordination of meetings, training, surveys, etc. and employee events (lunches, food trucks, quarterly meetings, etc.)
Process bi-weekly payroll (alternate with manager), including time and attendance maintenance
Support safety efforts as a member of the safety team
Assist employees with benefits enrollment – new hire and annual enrollment
Full-cycle recruiting for shop & warehouse positions
Posting roles online
Review resumes and recommend for further action
Coordinate communication with employment agencies and candidates
Conduct phone interviews
Schedule Interviews
Assist with new hire onboarding
Schedule pre-employment screening
Ensure new hire paperwork and benefits enrollments are completed
Represent the Americas in regard to global ESG initiatives
Ensure energy & waste consumption is reported via the Navex ESG online portal
Respond and report to corporate ESG inquire
Respond to vendor/customer ESG surveys/inquiries
Coordinate and champion ESG initiatives in the Americas
Other tasks as defined
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
Prior experience in a relevant HR or administrative role
Prior experience in manufacturing preferred
1+ years of HR experience preferred
Basic knowledge of labor laws
Excellent organizational skills
HRIS experience
Strong Communications Skills
Computer skills
