Candidate must be detail-oriented and customer-focused to support the daily operations of the HR Department. This position plays a key role in assisting employees, substitutes, and new hires.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer online systems for applications, onboarding forms, substitute placement, leave management, and training system.
Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, including onboarding forms and background checks.
Support recruitment efforts by posting job vacancies and advertisements.
Maintain HR resources such as the Employee Handbook, evaluation handbooks, and HR section of the division website.
Assist with data collection, reporting, budgeting, and office management tasks.
Assist with planning and coordination of division events, such as New Teacher Orientation, Staff Recognitions Banquet, and Retirement Reception.
Provide courteous and professional service to staff, visitors, and the public.
Qualifications:
Strong technology skills; able to easily learn new systems.
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
High school diploma or GED required; 1ā3 years of related experience preferred.
**This position works 7 hours per day. Salary is based on the Clerical II salary scale.
