Performs senior-level complex work. Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. Oversees the development, administration, and monitoring of the City of Leander’s compensation, classification, and salary administration program. Ensures compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Serves as a consultant to departments regarding staffing needs and organizational structure. Work requires effective working relationships with all levels of City management and staff.
