Job Summary:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to drive performance, culture, and organizational effectiveness. The HRBP provides guidance and support in areas such as employee relations, talent management, organizational design, change management, performance management, and workforce planning.

 

Compensation: $100,000 - 120,000 per year, depending on education, experience, and skillset. 

 

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

 

  • Cultivates trusted partnerships and collaborates with site leaders to develop and execute both long-term and short-term HR strategies that directly support and enable business objectives.
  • Works closely with regionally assigned CenExel sites to provide insights, monitor, and provide recommendations on workforce trends, employee engagement, and talent management.
  • Engrains a process improvement mindset in the culture and utilizes multiple levers to improve work relationships, efficiency and increase productivity and retention.
  • Uses data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the impact of HR programs.
  • Identifies training and development needs and coordinates learning programs to build employee capabilities.
  • Translates business strategies and objectives into the appropriate HR agenda, initiatives, and actions – and garners support/ownership for that agenda.
  • Ability to tactfully influence senior site leadership regarding key business strategies, as appropriate.
  • Leads and assists in the development and planning of site-level change/transformation initiatives to support business transformation and growth.
  • Provides employee relations expertise to site leaders ensuring compliance, providing coaching and consultation on people-related matters and company practices.
  • Drives succession planning, performance management, and career development initiatives for key positions for assigned sites.
  • In coordination with the Talent Acquisition team, develop talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Supports and promotes site level employee engagement and organizational culture initiatives through collaboration with HR and site leaders.
  • Advises and supports site leaders in the execution of employment practices ensuring an appropriate balance between business requirements, ethical issues and employment laws.
  • Guides leaders through the performance review and salary review process ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provides input into compensation and benefits decisions, ensuring equity and competitiveness.
  • Role models effective oral and written communication leadership abilities.
  • Partners with management to resolve workplace conflicts and improve team dynamics.
  • Ensures compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Stays abreast of HR best practices and industry trends.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • HR certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Problem solving mindset
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in HR analytics and reporting tools.
  • 3+ years’ of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or Generalist roles.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to champion important issues and to work collaboratively with business and HR partners.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and consult with business leaders in shaping the workforce to meet business goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Local travel within the Orange County CA region and regional travel to other western states is required. 
  • Proven ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Sound knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

 

 

 

 

Working Conditions

  1. Indoor, Clinic or Office environment. 
  2. Essential physical requirements include sitting, typing, standing, and walking.
  3. Lightly active position, occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
  4. Reporting to work, as scheduled, is essential.
  5. Ability to travel locally and regionally, up to 25%.
  6. Onsite work arrangement.
