Human Resources Business Partner

The Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor to leaders and teams, aligning HR strategies with business goals across Indiana University Health. This role supports talent management, engagement, workforce planning, and leader development while driving system‑wide HR initiatives and partnering closely with HR Centers of Excellence to address regional and functional needs.

Reports to: Director – Human Resources
Direct reports: None
Shift: Full Time, Monday – Friday; hybrid model (in office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Location: Indianapolis, IN
The Scope:
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for this position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required; Master’s Degree preferred
3–5 years of relevant Human Resources experience
Experience executing HR programs and initiatives
Ability to guide the application of HR‑related regulations and laws (e.g., FLSA, COBRA, ADA, FMLA, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, SharePoint)
Experience working in a highly matrixed and complex work environment preferred
