Position Summary:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, focusing on employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. This role will proactively coach and mentor managers, support engagement and retention efforts, and lead HR special projects that drive organizational effectiveness. The HRBP will play a critical role in fostering a positive, high-performance work environment aligned with our mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including investigations, corrective action, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of policies and compliance with employment laws and ABA-specific standards.
Coaching & Development:
- Mentor and coach people leaders on performance management, team development, and employee engagement.
- Build capabilities to handle day-to-day people leadership challenges effectively.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance review process, including goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
- Collaborate on strategies to recognize and develop top performers and address underperformance.
Special Projects:
- Lead or contribute to HR projects such as engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion initiatives, policy updates, and process improvements.
- Partner cross-functionally on projects that enhance the employee experience and drive business results.
Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including FMLA, ADA, and wage/hour regulations.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide regular reports to leadership with actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
- 5+ years of HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations and coaching leaders.
- Experience in healthcare, ABA, or related service industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
