Agilysys is seeking a client-focused Human Resource Business Partner to join our Alpharetta headquarters. This on-site role is responsible for building strong, trust-based relationships with employees and leaders while enhancing the overall employee experience through strategic HR support.
Job Summary:
As the Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) you will serve as a strategic liaison between Human Resources and designated business units. You will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management, with a strong focus on talent acquisition and employee relations. You will lead high-impact recruitment initiatives to attract top talent and play a critical role in managing and resolving complex employee relations issues. Working on-site in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you will foster an engaged and high-performing workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, partnering with hiring managers to define role requirements, source high-quality candidates, and ensure a seamless hiring experience.
- Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs tailored to each department to ensure new employees are effectively integrated, equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge, and positioned for early success in their roles.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing strategic guidance on HR policies, procedures, and talent planning.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including conducting detailed investigations, recommending action plans, and ensuring fair, compliant resolutions.
- Support performance management by coaching managers on setting clear expectations, delivering feedback, and creating development plans.
- Collaborate with leaders through the annual compensation review and promotion process.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop data-driven solutions that enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
- Act as a change agent facilitating organizational change through communication and change management support.
- Maintain a visible and accessible presence in the office to build strong relationships and actively support employee engagement.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, including at least 2 years in a business partner or generalist role with direct experience in recruitment and employee relations. Preferably in the software tech environment.
Skills & Competencies:
- Demonstrated expertise in full-cycle recruitment and sourcing strategies.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive employee relations issues with fairness, professionalism, and discretion.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Highly proactive and persistent in following up with stakeholders and navigating organizational structures to drive initiatives forward.
- Resourceful, tenacious and assertive, with the ability to seek out the right contacts and information to resolve issues and deliver results.
- Able to build strong, trust-based relationships by consistently delivering on commitments and producing high-quality outcomes.
- Naturally curious with strong active listening skills and enjoys educating, coaching others.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing, ambiguous environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
- This is an on-site position based at our Alpharetta, GA office; a daily in-office presence is required to foster strong employee engagement and collaboration.
- Standard office hours with flexibility as needed to support urgent HR matters.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
