DISHER is currently partnering with a global supply chain solutions organization on their HR Business Partner opportunity. In this role, you will operate in a bi-layer function supporting both onsite and global human resource functional areas. You'll work closely with departmental teams on employee programming, team leadership, compensation and cost analytics, and employee relations while serving as the pivot person for payroll processing and leave management.

What you will get to do:
Process and report bi-weekly payroll with accuracy and efficiency
Serve as the pivot person for leave management, leading the team on UIA, LOA & WC administration
Update, maintain, and audit data within the UKG system as needed
Partner with assigned client groups to implement and execute defined HR strategy initiatives
Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to all levels of employee groups
Assist managers and supervisors across the organization in all areas of employment law and team member relations, including disciplinary matters, labor relations, job performance issues, and wage and hour matters
Evaluate and make recommendations on proposed team member disciplinary actions, associated leaves of absence, and separation decisions
Maximize overall accuracy and efficiency related to new hire processing, team member transfers, promotions, and separations
Identify and/or conduct investigations on employee relations issues in an appropriate and timely manner
Manage onsite talent acquisition, employment processing, compensation, training and development, records management, safety and health, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations
Ensure legal compliance throughout all functions of HR management and help manage compliance with ISO and OSHA standards
Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing data and trends
Coach and transfer knowledge to other team members
Contribute to special project assignments across all HR functional areas
What will make you successful:
2+ years of Human Resources and Payroll experience
Experience processing bi-weekly payroll
Experience managing leave administration programs
Education and relevant experience demonstrating real-world knowledge of HR and payroll functions
Managerial courage with the ability to provide direct, actionable feedback and address people problems quickly
Strong business acumen and understanding of how policies, practices, and trends affect the organization
Ability to solve complex problems by breaking them down into manageable components
Conflict resolution skills with the ability to build consensus and find mutually agreeable solutions
Change management skills with enthusiasm for new initiatives and ability to help others adapt
Personal learning mindset with commitment to continuous improvement
Technical expertise with ability to keep skills current and share knowledge with others
UKG experience or equivalent experience with similar HRIS platforms preferred.
SHRM or HRCI Certified Professional certification preferred.
