Our success is built on clear expectations, accountability, and employee development at every stage of the employee lifecycle. We’re seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team and serve as a strategic partner to managers and directors while driving structured onboarding, development, and performance processes across the company.

  Location: - Clermont, Florida (On-Site)

Schedule - Monday - Friday  (Day Shift)

Compensation: -  $67,000 to $83,000 yearly based on experience

Position Overview

The HRBP is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring Individual Development Plans (IDPs) to support employees at key milestones: new hire onboarding, Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), and post-performance reviews. This role ensures employees have clear expectations, training resources, and follow-up, while managers are equipped with the tools and guidance to effectively lead their teams. The HRBP will also support employee relations, compliance, and broader HR initiatives as part of the HR team.

Key Responsibilities

Engagement Points:

  • New Hires: Develop and deliver structured IDPs at 30/60/90 days, 6 months, and 1 year, including reporting lines, mentor contacts, performance expectations, and assigned courses/content.
  • During PIPs: Partner with managers and employees to create focused IDPs with short timelines, weekly check-ins, and accountability for both soft skills and technical goals.
  • After Performance Reviews: Build forward-looking IDPs that establish clear next steps for growth beyond past performance feedback.

Plan Development & Follow-Up:

  • Create IDPs using job descriptions, Predictive Index (PI) data, past experiences, and manager input.
  • Tailor plans to the employee and manager using PI insights.
  • Conduct follow-ups: weekly for new hires or PIPs, monthly/quarterly for others. Provide managers with concise progress reports.

Education Assignment & Compliance:

  • Assign courses, readings, and videos from platforms such as SkillCat, Kalos LMS, Udemy, Google Courses, and HVACRschool.com.
  • Track completion and escalate concerns to managers if engagement drops off.
  • Troubleshoot barriers (login issues, scheduling conflicts, etc.).
  • Ensure technical and soft skills are both addressed in development plans.

Employee Engagement:

  • Maintain flexible communication channels (text, call, evening conversations as needed).
  • Provide bilingual coverage for Spanish-speaking staff (directly or in partnership with support staff).
  • Engage field workers by connecting IDPs to both technical learning (layout, venting, tool use) and interpersonal growth.

Manager Support:

  • Provide managers with tailored versions of each IDP, including communication and leadership guidance.
  • Deliver forward-looking input during performance reviews.
  • Create standardized, AI-assisted IDP templates managers can easily adapt.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of HR generalist or HRBP experience, preferably in construction, trades, or a fast-paced, field-based industry.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, and onboarding best practices.
  • Experience with learning platforms, training assignment, and compliance tracking.
  • Familiarity with Predictive Index (PI) or similar behavioral assessment tools preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Highly organized, empathetic, and persistent with strong follow-through
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively at all levels of the organization.
