Description

The Human Resources Business Partner -North America (Hybrid Ann Arbor) will advance and implement high-value workforce strategies that enhance organizational performance for both short-term and long-term success. This role involves consulting with senior managers and business leaders across North America on matters related to talent strategies and general HR support. 



Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
  • Align HR policies and programs to promote employee engagement, retention, and performance
  • Collaborate with management as a strategic advisor to identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organizations organization’s strategic goals and objectives
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement by providing suggestions, and new ideas.
  • Champion organizational change initiatives by applying change management principles
  • Oversee the seamless execution of the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees
  • Advocate for the development of our talent, fostering an environment that enables individuals to reach their full potential
  • Maintain knowledge of progressive HR practices and key trends
  • Facilitate a strong leadership and coaching culture
  • Identify and drive the sharing of best practices across global functions and within HR 
  • Execute on day-to-day HR tasks such as system updates, employee relations topics, coaching and feedback to employees and manager

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience Human Resources is required
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
  • Significant knowledge of HR policies, processes (e.g., workforce planning and talent management), and talent management practices
  • Ability to facilitate business conversations and interface at all levels of the organization 
  • Good conceptual insight and ability to think strategically 
  • Ability to manage urgent and complex tasks, processes, and practices through collaboration and a strong understanding of business practices
