Description

Position: Human Resources Coordinator



General Purpose:


This position is responsible for providing regular clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources and Administration departments under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources. The HR Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are assuring quality and completion of the coordination of assigned projects in HR and general administration. This includes the support and coordination of Mentor Recruitment.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


Human Resources


Supports the HR team in scheduling part time candidate & Mentor interviews.


Facilitates the collection of compliant onboarding documentation and assure collection in proper files and system.


Conducts reference checks for all part time employees.


Coordinates with hiring manager to calendar and track onboarding trainings.


Supports employee engagement efforts through Paylocity announcements and surveys.


Coordinates and supports assigned recruitment projects, including but not limited to: Paid to Play, Career Fairs and community outreach.


Coordinates the development and distribution of collateral for recruitment and provides supports social media campaigns related to Coordinator & Mentor Recruitment, in partnership with the Marketing Department.


Participates in non-monetary employee recognition initiatives.


Oversees all company property record keeping and collection.


Responsible for the driver approval process.


Supports HR Dept with document creation, updating and version control.


Update Sharepoint and website as directed.

Education & Experience


Four-year degree in related field from an accredited college or university preferred.


Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.


General knowledge of administrative office-based practices


Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational and time management skills.


Must be able to demonstrate responsibility and initiative.


Strong proficiency in Windows, Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Sharepoint.


Previous HR experience a plus.


Knowledge of HRIS (specifically Paylocity) preferred.

Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.


Must be able to sit, stand, walk, frequently


The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.

Salary Description
$25.00-$29.00/hour
