Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to the HR Team, ensuring accurate execution of the day-to-day HR processes and consistent employee experience.  This role is highly task-oriented and ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, follow-through, and supporting a busy team through detailed, behind-the-scenes execution.

The HR Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining data accuracy, coordinating logistics, supporting employee lifecycle processes, and handling routine HR requests.  This position is not a strategic or advisory role, but rather a hands-on support role that enables the broader HR team to operate effectively and compliantly.

Responsibilities

HR Administrative Support

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling, documentation preparation, and coordination of routine HR activities
  • Serve as a first point of contact for basic HR inquiries, escalating questions as appropriate
  • Support HR projects by completing assigned tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met

Employee Records & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems and personnel files
  • Perform routine data entry related to new hires, job changes, terminations, and other employee lifecycle updates
  • Assist in audits, file reviews, and data clean-up to support compliance and reporting needs

Onboarding & Orientation Support

  • Coordinate logistics for new hire onboarding, including scheduling orientation sessions and preparing materials
  • Ensure new hire documentation is completed accurately and on time
  • Support a positive onboarding experience through timely communication and attention to detail

HR Operations & Process Support

  • Assist with routine HR processes such as employment verifications, document distribution, and standard reporting
  • Monitor shared HR inboxes and route or respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Prepare and track required compliance documentation (I-9s, policy acknowledgements, required notices, etc.)
  • Support periodic audits and reporting needs by gathering and validating data
  • Help ensure HR processes are followed consistently and documented appropriately

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive, task-based work accurately
  • Comfort working in a structured environment with established processes and deadlines
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously
  • Reliable follow-through and willingness to assist with a wide range of HR-related tasks
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excell, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in an administrative, coordinator, or office support role
  • Exposure to Human Resources processes or systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS)
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
