The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and technical support to the Human Resources team, and other functional areas of the facility based in Elmore, OH. This position updates and maintains a variety of confidential records related to human resource management.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Assist in recruiting candidates and onboarding new hires including contacting and scheduling candidates and new hires, scheduling medical screening, drug screening, and physical skills assessments, processing new hire paperwork, I-9 processing, and E-Verify, background checks
  • Facilitate necessary HR paperwork and be responsible for coordinating orientation process including scheduling, logistics, and delivering presentations
  • Maintain human resource databases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems
  • Keep employee records and files up to date and assure proper security of records and files
  • Coordinate medical leave process, tracking and follow-up with employees
  • Enter personnel transactions into Workday system
  • Prepare various scheduled and ad hoc reports of employee data contained in HRIS and other applicable systems, maintaining and distributing reports as needed
  • Post job opening requisitions, maintain bidding process, and track new employee performance process
  • Participate in and facilitate plant-wide employee engagement initiatives and teams
  • Support community engagement initiatives, as directed
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies and procedures are followed
  • Process visitor requests to ensure proper paperwork and training completed prior to visit

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business, or related field required
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources or analytical roles in manufacturing setting preferred
  • Previous experience as Human Resources intern or administrative function preferred
  • Previous experience with HRIS software (Workday) and Canva preferred
  • MS Office experience (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) is required
  • Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills; must be flexible and able to manage multiple priorities and perform well in fast-paced and time-sensitive environment with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communications skills coupled with exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to effectively deal with people at all levels of organization
  • Discretion, tact, and integrity are recognized requirements of this position


 

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
