Education -High School Diploma is required. College degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
Service years - At least 2 years of HR experience is required.
Knowledge and skills
Mathematical skills, including basic math, are utilized frequently.
Problem solving and reasoning abilities are used often.
Must be able to devise, prepare and maintain spreadsheets using various software systems.
May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holiday
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with colleagues and managers.
Proficiency in MS programs especially with MS PPT, MS Word, MS Outlook and MS Excel.
Ability to analyze data, organize it, and present it in a clear and professional manner.
Able to engage in meaningful negotiation and resolution in a calm and objective manner.
Language - Fluent in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing). Multi-lingual preferred but not required.
What’s the job?
The Human Resources Coordinator works with the Director of Human Resources and/or Human Resources Manager to develop and deliver Human Resources initiatives that supports the Resort’s HR strategy and to manage specific HR projects and initiatives. Responsible for supporting managers to enable them to professionally manage their teams and supports team members in delivering Great Hotels Guests Love. Support the utilization of the Resort’s Winning Ways and all IHG commitments.

Financial
Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
Administer compensation or benefits programs.
Administer personnel recruitment or hiring activities.
Take specific responsibility for elements of a number of key projects as identified in the HR Plan, ensuring project timelines are met.
Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
