Salary Range: $19.94 to $24.16 an hour

JOB SUMMARY
Provides a welcoming environment for customers to the HR department – in person, on the phone and via e-mail; assist visitors and callers by providing info regarding HR services, maintains personnel files and front area for the HR department. Assignments are characterized by an emphasis upon the processing of information or execution of defined programs/actions. The incumbent will deal with highly sensitive, confidential information.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for the HR department (phone, in person, or e-mail) to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to university policies.
Administrative Support: Facilitate the day-to-day activities in Human Resources (with assistance from student workers as appropriate).
Records Administration and Reporting: Coordinates the filing of personnel, payroll, and benefits documents following university policies (with assistance from student workers as appropriate).
Student Employment: Provide first-tier support for student employment.
Other Duties as assigned.
