The HR Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for team members and managers, providing high-quality customer service and administrative support across Human Resources functions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth daily HR operations, maintaining compliance, supporting team member engagement initiatives, and reinforcing HR processes.
The HR Coordinator is expected to maintain strict confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism, and model the organization’s core values while supporting both team members and leadership.
What You’ll Do In This Role

Team Member Support & HR Operations:
- Serve as the primary front-line contact for team member HR questions and concerns.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Maintain and reinforce HR processes and service standards.

Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide administrative and project support to the HR team.
- Create, distribute, and maintain HR documentation and records.
- Maintain HR files, databases, and reporting tools.
- Receive and process incoming mail and employment-related documentation.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and tracking logs.

Compliance & Records Management
- Support compliance tracking (licenses, CPR certifications, clinical requirements, new hire documentation).
- Process employment verifications and reference requests in accordance with organizational standards.
- Assist with audits and ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.

Communications & Engagement
- Assist in developing and distributing team member communications (flyers, notices, announcements).
- Maintain HR communication boards and campus postings.
- Monitor and promote employer brand platforms (Google, Indeed, Glassdoor).
- Create and publish social media content in support of recruitment and engagement efforts.

Programs & Events
- Coordinate and support HR-sponsored programs and events, including:
- Flu clinics
- Team member recognition and engagement events
- Holiday and community initiatives (e.g., Christmas families, resident gift programs)
- Scholarship and appreciation events
- Process team member program requests (e.g., toll relief, transportation programs).
- Serve as HR representative in the We Are WC committee.
- Participate in employee committees and engagement initiatives.

General Responsibilities
- Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and arrange department logistics.
- Support continuous improvement of HR processes and service delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

The Experience You’ll Bring
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of administrative, customer service, or HR support experience
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Proficiency in Google Doc, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and GMail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Meet
- Flu-Vaccinated
Preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–2 years of Human Resources experience
- Experience with HRIS systems (UKG preferred)
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools
- Experience supporting employee engagement or communications initiatives

Compensation Range: $21.79 - $26.15 per hour (based on relevant experience)
