NeuLife Rehabilitation of Michigan provides rehabilitation and residential services for individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Spinal Cord Injuries, and Neurological Disorders.
Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting all processes within the HR Department. The HR Coordinator assists the HR Manager in recruitment efforts, ensures legal and regulatory compliance, and assists in advising employees regarding various HR issues.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administrative tasks within the corporate office, including being the main point of contact for phone system
- Recruiting direct care staff through applicant tracking system, including phone screening, scheduling interviews, extending offers of employment
- Preparing onboarding packets and completing new hire orientation and training
- Serving as the principal contact for newly hired employees, including processing new hire paperwork, coordinating medical testing and fingerprint based background checks
- Creating and maintaining new hire employee files and auditing to ensure compliance
- Assisting in the monitoring and tracking of performance evaluations, annual training, verifying licensure
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1-2 years previous experience in Human Resources required
- Healthcare setting experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing
- Previous experience with MS Office, Google Drive, related software systems
