Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator serves as the primary owner of HR administrative and transactional work. This role is the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries and owns the intake, routing and completion of HR requests through the HR Help Desk.
The HR Coordinator ensures accuracy, responsiveness and consistency across HR processes while maintaining data integrity within HR systems. This role plays a critical part in improving the employee experience, reducing administrative burden for HRBPs and in supporting compliance.

Responsibilities

HR Help Desk and Employee Support

  • Serve as the first level owner of HR Help Desk tickets, ensuring timely response and resolution
  • Answer general HR inquiries and route items appropriately when escalation is needed
  • Track and follow up on open requests to ensure completion and service level expectations are met

Time, Pay and Employment Verification

  • Process hours requests
  • Complete verification of employment requests in a timely and compliant manner

Pre Employment and Onboarding Transactions

  • Responsible for pre-employment licensure and maintenance process
  • Process UKG transactions from onboarding into core systems
  • Complete I 9 processing and follow up to ensure compliance

Tracking and Administrative Ownership

  • Track referral bonuses and sign bonuses for accuracy and timely processing
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation within HR systems
  • Support audits, reporting and data requests related to HR transactions
  • Support special HR projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in an HR administrative, coordinator or support role
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms, UKG experience a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast paced environment
