Description

The HR Coordinator provides essential support to the HR team by assisting with administrative tasks, team member inquiries, and the onboarding process. This role is ideal for someone beginning their HR career who is detail-oriented, organized, people‑focused, and comfortable coordinating across teams to keep HR workflows running seamlessly. You will be paid hourly and will be eligible to apply for best in class benefits after 90days.  In this role you will typically work a day shift and at times there may be occassions or events requiring HR assistance in the evening or on a weekend. 



Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in business casual attire with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a positive, readytolearn attitude.

  • Greet guests and team members warmly and professionally, supporting our Family Style Service culture.

  • Serves as first point of contact for team member questions.
  • Assist with scheduling interviews, meetings, and HR related appointments. 
  • Support HR team with documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking. 
  • Support HR projects, team member engagement initiative and process improvements. 
  • Process payments for Missouri Gaming application fees. 
  • Serve current team members by assisting them with badge, access keys, and name tags. 
  • Coordinate pre-onboarding tasks including document collection, background checks and required forms. 
  • Prepare new hire packets and onboarding schedules. 
  • Communicate with new hires to guide them through the pre-start process and answer questions. 
  • Support new hire orientation onboarding activities and orientation coordination. 
  • Assist with general office administration tasks as needed. 
  • Assist Wardrobe seamstress with new hire fittings as needed. 
  • Maintains clean work areas always, replenishes stocks at end of shift and completes end of shift duties.  


Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years of age. 

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.

  • High school diploma required; associates or bachelor’s in HR, Business, or related field preferred. 

  • Effective communication and customer service skills. 

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. 

  • Ability to manage confidential information responsibly. 

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products. 

  • Must pass the required background check and obtain a Missouri Gaming License.

  • Report to work well-groomed. neat hair and personal hygiene are essential.

  • Experience with onboarding processes or recruitment coordination.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance basics.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing deadlines.

  • Ability to work in a loud, fastpaced environment while managing multiple tasks under time constraints.

  • Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.

  • Must be able to lift fifteen pounds. 
  • Ability to continually stand and/or walk entire shift.
  • Dexterity to use computer, laptop, tablet, printer, and copier.
