HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Human Resources Coordinator serves as a vital and dependable team member, providing essential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role contributes to creating a welcoming and professional environment for both internal employees and external guests. The Coordinator is responsible for a variety of clerical and HR-related functions, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality in all matters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related topics such as leave, compensation, and conflict resolution.
Assist with a wide range of HR functions, including but not limited to: applicant screening, onboarding, orientation, team member activities and events, policy administration, internal communication and training.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Foster a collaborative and courteous working environment across departments.
Support and promote HR
MISCELLANEOUS
Other HR responsibilities are assigned by the Human Resources Manager & Director.
Participate in special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to communicate effectively with Team Members and members of the Human Resources.
Ability to maintain strict and confidentiality relative to Human Resources, Financial data and company policies and procedures.
Ability to work in a professional office environment.
Ability to be at work on time as scheduled on a regular basis which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Understanding of general Human Resources policies and Procedures.
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems.
Aptitude in problem-solving.
Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Assist in the posting and distribution of internal employee communications through social media platforms and bulletin boards located on the property.
Develop and update the property newsletter, ensuring it is disseminated to all team members via email and displayed on bulletin boards.
Collaborate with the designated Hero Chair team member to plan and coordinate volunteer activities both on-property and off-property.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting, and noise levels.
STARTING PAY: $ 22.00 HR
