Description

ABM is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator for Boston Logan International Airport (Airside Division) to support approximately 250 ABM custodial and security employees and front-line leaders. The Human Resources Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties. In addition, the HR Coordinator is directly responsible for some or all of the following functional areas: Departmental Development, HRIS, Employee Relations, Training and Development, Benefits, Compensation, Organizational Development, Administration, and Employment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability is preferred.

This role is full-time, onsite (Mon-Fri) at Boston Logan International Airport.

 

Pay: $70,000–$75,000

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities
  • Support, motivate and promote the workforce by building a positive and thriving team environment.
  • Serve as mentor and coach to managers/supervisors to enhance employee relations skills and knowledge.
  • Administer and execute all Human Resources policies and programs for the respective lines of service.
  • Effectively, thoroughly and efficiently conduct investigations into workplace concerns such as rule, policy or procedural violations. The HR Coordinator is also responsible to recommend and take appropriate steps to address any and all workplace concerns.
  • Planning, managing and execution of full cycle recruiting for both front line and staff/management employees.
  • Work with Safety Manager and safety coordinators to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local occupational safety and health laws for the respective lines of service.
  • Assist and participate in annual processes such as benefits, compensation and performance/KPI objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers throughout the coaching and counseling/disciplinary process.
  • Monitor training programs for effectiveness and legal compliance.
  • Ensures compliance with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or Business related field preferred.
  • Two to Three (2-3) years demonstrated Human Resource experience.
  • College degree or similar work experience required.
  • Experience with a large (300+) capacity in a Human Resource function preferred.
  • Experience with employees located in multiple sites preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) ability preferred.
