Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator Location: Orem, UT Employment Type: Full-Time – On Site Exempt Position: $50,000 – $65,000 (based on experience)

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This role provides critical HR transactional and administrative support across all company functions, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of employee data, policy administration, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will bring strong interpersonal skills, experience in HR platforms and systems, and a deep understanding of HR policies and procedures, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities: HR Administration & Employee Support
Provide day-to-day HR operational support to employees.
Maintain and update employee records in Paycom, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Support employee lifecycle processes including new hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions.
Ensure HR policies and procedures are accurately administered and consistently applied.
Respond to general HR inquiries while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
People support in both corporate and warehouse environments.
Assist employees with benefit programs and leave requests including open enrollment, retirement options, and PTO.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Assist with job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and coordination with hiring managers.
Facilitate pre-employment processes, hiring checklists, benefit selections, background checks, and new hire paperwork.
Coordinate and deliver smooth onboarding experiences for new employees.
Policy & Compliance
Ensure all HR practices comply with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations and are best practices aligned with policy and system procedures.
Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
Assist with audits, documentation, and recordkeeping to maintain compliance standards.
Confirm time-off is being recorded and executed within the system and per policy.
HR Systems & Analytics
Administer and maintain employee data in Paycom and other needed systems.
Support HR systems implementation and enhancements as required.
Assist in administering HR modules and training employees how to work within them.
Run reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making and provide insights to the HR Leader.
Employee Relations & Confidentiality
Act as a first point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
Escalate sensitive issues appropriately while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Assist with documenting employee issues and tracking resolution efforts.
Prepare offboarding documentation and administer releases when needed.
Create relationships by becoming a trusted advisor for employees and the company.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
2-4 years of experience in a Human Resources support or coordinator role.
Hands-on experience with Paycom or similar HRIS platforms is strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-bound initiatives
Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
HR Certifications preferred but not required.
