• Supports recruiting activities by maintaining internal (plant) posting processes; conducting external recruitment activities (places ads, sources passive candidates, and screens applications); schedules and assists with conducting interviews; coordinates new hire orientations and conducts orientations in the absence of the Human Resources Generalist.

• Performs various administrative duties related to human resources (i.e: maintaining affirmative action log, applicant & employee correspondence, presentation materials, etc.)

• Acts as a resource for supervisors and plant personnel on policies and procedures related to human resources and open job opportunities. 

• Retrieves information and runs reports from the HRIS system.

• Assists the Human Resources Generalist with projects as needed.

• Assist with Payroll

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Associates degree in human resources or related field, or 3 or more years of experience in human resources or recruiting.

• Team player, positive, enthusiastic, approachable, detail oriented, and organized

• Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to multi-task and maintain confidentiality

• Professional and customer service oriented

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
