A reasonable estimate of the current range is $27.00/HR-$29.00/HR

 

Position Summary: 

The Human Resource Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of SNAHC’s human resource department.  This role will be primarily located at J Street, but may be required to travel to the Florin Rd. And Grant locations as needed.  

Essential Functions: 

  • Owns pre-hire processes including, first day email details, IT tickets, new hire spreadsheet upkeep and distribution, start date communication with internal partners, requesting and monitoring pre-hire screenings, managing pre-hire communication with candidates, creating new hire profiles in UKG and Mineral, along with other clerical support as needed.
  • Facilitates new hire orientation including meeting setup and facilitation, schedule management, collection and retention of new hire documentation and warm handoffs to Managers . 
  • Responsible for maintenance of HR and Employee documents and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of files and contents.  Duties include creation of new employee files, timely filing of documents and tracking of compliance related documentation in multiple systems.  
  • Serves as backup for Payroll and for reoccurring monthly reporting and tracking duties held by the Analyst.  
  • Distributes time sensitive material including employee checks, tax documentation, monthly parking passes, 403B documents, anniversary and birthday cards.  Ensures that time sensitive HR mail is distributed and received.
  • Manages creation and distribution of the monthly newsletter. 
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as open enrollment, surprise and delight events, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events and holiday parties.  
  • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Complies with all state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the position, including HIPAA, sexual harassment, Scope of Practice, OSHA, SCAR reporting, etc. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information systems (HRIS), and similar computer applications.

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

  • 2 years experience in a similar role 
  • Experience working with HRIS
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.  

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience in an FQHC setting. 
  • Experience with UKG and/or Compliatric
  • Knowledge of traditional, cultural and spiritual practices of the diverse AI/AN community, as well as ability to work with other racially, culturally, ethnically, and financially diverse populations.
