Provides clerical/administrative support to the Department of Human Resources including front desk reception duties. Provides training related administrative support to the HRD program including responding to routine training inquiries, LMS Administrator, creating and preparing training materials, compiling reports to track and measure training activities, maintaining training records and files. Facilitates Orientation and assist Recruitment Team with Onboarding new hires; and other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Associate’s degree is preferred
  • Three to four years HR related office experience
  • Accurate typing skills
  • Experience providing support to several team members
  • Knowledge of general customer service practices
  • Experience with handling multi-line phone system
  • Experience interacting with the public
  • Proficiency in producing/editing PowerPoint presentations
  • Proficiency in producing/editing Excel spreadsheets

The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range.
