Job Description

To help us keep our ducks in a row, Lakeshore’s Human Resources team in Carson could use the support of a full-time Human Resources Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment! If you are an incredibly organized individual who wants to learn new skills in a challenging yet fun environment—and you have a passion for helping others and pitching in where needed—then don’t pass up this opportunity!

A day in the office looks like this: 

  • Act as on-site go-to resource for employees and managers with incentive and recognition programs, answering employee questions and directing to the right internal partners  
  • Assisting with employment, on-boarding, and off-boarding processes: support I-9 and E-Verify process, processing all exits including generating all paperwork and processing terminations 
  • Supporting required training processes (like prevention of harassment) including reporting and tracking 
  • Supporting background check process including managing users, troubleshooting issues with cross-functional teams and processing invoices 
  • Administering HR protocols including required reporting, employee interactions and tracking 
  • Work with team to create and document processes/procedures, with regular evaluation ensuring efficiency 
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the department  

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required   
  • 1+ year of HR or office-related experience preferred 
  • Top-notch written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy 
  • Strong sense of urgency and a “can-do” attitude 
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and
  • Great attention to detail 
  • Egoless, collaborative approach to producing great work

And here’s our end of the bargain! 

At Lakeshore, we pay local market wages for employees that reside within Los Angeles and Orange Counties.

For this position, new employees joining Lakeshore who live within Los Angeles and Orange Counties are typically brought into the organization at an hourly rate between $20.19-$26.20 depending on relevant experience & skillset.

This range is indicative of projected hiring range. The annual base compensation will take into account each candidate's relevant experience, location, and skillset.
