Head-Royce School is seeking a meticulous and organized Human Resources Coordinator to join our Business Office. This part-time role is essential to our hiring operations, providing administrative support that ensures our faculty and staff can focus on what they do best: educating students in support of our mission. You will work in the business office, partnering closely with the HR Director and Payroll Manager to provide a seamless experience for all employees throughout their lifecycle at the school.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Managing recruiting workflows and onboarding documentation
Maintaining electronic personnel files and HR recordsTracking and supporting required employee and volunteer trainingsAssisting with HR projects, communications, and intranet updates
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of HR or administrative experience (school or nonprofit preferred)
Demonstrated knowledge of California employment law
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion
Proficiency with HRIS systems (pref Paycom) and Google Workspace

$33 - $35 an hour
Paid hourly, non-exempt, hybrid 18 hours a week. Oppty to increase hours in 26-27 school year.
