Position Overview:
We are looking for a strategic and dynamic Human Resources Director to join our executive team. In this pivotal role, you will lead workforce planning, employee engagement, compliance, and talent development initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to make a meaningful impact on operational efficiency, organizational culture, and employee satisfaction.
As a key member of the executive management team, the HR Director plays a crucial role in shaping and implementing human resources strategies that align with business goals. You will actively contribute to all HR functions, working collaboratively with the HR team and organizational leaders to enhance efficiency, foster a positive work environment, and build a culture that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certifications preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Develops and implements HR strategies that align with business goals and drive organizational growth.
- Partners with leadership to assess and forecast workforce needs, ensuring the right talent is in place to meet business objectives.
- Identifies and develops future leaders within the organization in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Regularly reports on key HR metrics, including turnover, compliance, and employee development, providing insights for executive decision making.
- Oversees the implementation and management of the HR Information System (HRIS) to improve data accuracy, reporting, and efficiency.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manages complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, workplace investigations, and policy interpretation.
- Ensures compliance with all relevant employment laws, including EEO, ACA, and labor laws, and conducts regular audits to minimize risk.
- Collaborates with leadership and legal counsel to manage risk related to employment practices and ensures HR policies adhere to legal standards.
- Oversees the employee performance evaluation process and ensures consistent application of performance improvement initiatives.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and support to the HR Specialist, ensuring daily HR functions are managed efficiently and in line with organizational standards.
Recruitment, Engagement, & Development
- Leads recruitment efforts, ensuring a streamlined candidate experience and working with the HR Specialist to execute hiring processes.
- Oversees the onboarding process, ensuring compliance tasks are completed and new hires are well integrated into the company culture.
- Develops and implements programs that promote employee satisfaction, recognition, and wellness, contributing to improved retention rates.
- Oversees training and development programs, aligning employee growth opportunities with business needs to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Supervises and guides the HR Specialist in recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance activities.
- Ensures the effectiveness of employee orientation and onboarding processes, supporting the HR Specialist in coordination and documentation.
- Oversees the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring strategic alignment and compliance with regulations.
Collaboration & Communication
- Maintains open lines of communication with department heads, employees, and external partners regarding HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Provides overall assistance and research support on benefit policies, programs, and procedures to the HR and Finance teams.
Budget and Resource Management
- Oversees the HR budget, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and resource allocation.
- Analyzes HR expenditures and recommends adjustments to support strategic initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
- Stays updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
- Performs other duties as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
