HR Professional
The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources operations, ensuring compliance with policies, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role is responsible for a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance.

Responsibilities
Workforce Planning:
  • Partner with business leaders to forecast workforce needs and align recruitment strategies.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Administer onboarding and orientation for new employees.
Employee Relations and Development:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on HR issues, fostering positive employee relations.
  • Provide guidance on conflict resolution, performance management, and compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Investigate and resolve employee grievances and disciplinary issues.
  • Support leaders in identifying skill gaps and opportunities for training.
  • Lead the design and facilitation of annual employee review cycles.
  • Conduct initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, well-being, and overall engagement.
Payroll:
  • Process semi-monthly payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
  • Manage employee deductions, garnishments, bonuses, and commissions.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries from employees.
  • Work with finance/accounting on payroll reconciliation and reporting.
  • Stay up to date on payroll regulations and tax laws.
Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure that policies and procedures are compliant with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Regularly audit HR practices and recommend improvements to align with legal requirements and business needs.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects related to organizational development, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
  • Maintain and update employee records.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years HR experience, with at least 2 years in a generalist or strategic HR role.
  • SHRM or PHR certification preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and current federal, state, and local laws.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive attitude.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with employee relations or performance management.
  • HR experience in Mexico, including local labor law compliance, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Occasional travel required to other company locations in Midland, Texas, and Lafayette, Louisiana.
Hybrid work schedule.
The annual salary range for this role is $70,000-$80,000.
