What You Will Do
- Oversee the full-cycle onboarding process for new hires, including extending offers, coordinating pre-employment testing, reviewing background checks, communicating with candidates, and ensuring all required information is accurately entered into HR systems prior to start date.
- Prepare, update, and assist in delivering new employee orientation materials and sessions.
- Partner with supervisors to develop and post job requisitions accurately and in a timely manner; maintain hiring records in the HRIS system and manage internal and external job postings.
- Maintain and update employee data across all systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Maintain and regularly update the HR procedures manual and Employee Handbook to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Compile, scan, file, and maintain personnel records in accordance with established filing systems and retention guidelines.
- Track and maintain new hire, termination, and EEO logs; prepare the annual EEO-1 report and other assigned HR reports.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback insights to leadership.
- Support employee engagement initiatives, including planning and assisting with employee committee events, campaigns, and activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, and other federal, state, and local requirements.
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Education - Two to five years of administrative, clerical, and HR experience desired.
- Experience - Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Member service experience, including effectively performing the skills necessary to deliver exceptional service, such as communication, empathy, patience, and organization.
- Experience drafting, editing, and creating professional correspondences, memorandums, presentations, etc.
