POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Generalist – Employee Experience will serve as a strategic partner in delivering key employee-centric HR functions including talent acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and internal communications. This role integrates traditional generalist responsibilities with a strong focus on enhancing the employee experience and building an inclusive and engaging workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
▪ People Operations & Experience
o Own and refine employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, engagement,
retention, and offboarding).
o Lead new hire experience programs, orientation delivery, and post-onboarding
engagement.
o Partner with leaders on initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and
workplace culture.
▪ Internal Communications Leadership
o Oversee content development for internal platforms, including announcements,
newsletters, and leadership updates.
o Direct planning and execution of company events, recognition campaigns, and
engagement huddles.
▪ Strategic HR Initiatives
o Collaborate with the HR Operations Manager and VP of HR to develop metrics
and dashboards related to employee experience.
o Contribute to DEI initiatives, recognition programs, and wellness strategies.
o Champion use of communication tools, surveys, and platforms to gain feedback
and promote continuous improvement.
▪ HR Administration & Compliance Support
o Serve as back-up for leave administration (FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD).
o Support HR Operations Manager with maintaining and managing HRIS data and
reporting (especially UKG Pro) as needed.
o Support benefits administration, payroll reviews, and compliance activities.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
▪ Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field.
▪ 5+ years of progressive HR experience; at least 1–2 years with employee experience or
communications focus.
▪ Strong experience in internal communications or managing a communications specialist.
▪ Excellent interpersonal, project management, and presentation skills.
▪ UKG Pro and Adobe Creative Cloud familiarity a plus.
VALUED BUT NOT REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIEINCE
▪ PHR/SPHR; SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified
Professional (SHRM-SCP) Certification is preferred.
▪ Knowledge of manufacturing industry.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an
employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties
of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use of eyes for close vision, use
hands, fingers, grasp, handle, reach, listen, talk and may need to talk on the telephone while
taking notes. Occasionally the employee must lift and/or move up to 30 pounds or ask for
assistance.
Normal working schedule: Monday thru Friday with a flexible work schedule available. Core business hours are from 8am to 5pm. The noise levels in some manufacturing facilities frequently may exceed the normal dBA. The employee is required to wear eye protection when walking through the plant.


General sign-off: The employee is expected to adhere to all company policies and to act as a
role model in the adherence to policies.
