The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in both strategic initiatives and daily HR operations, collaborating closely with the HR team to support multiple OCH locations. This position is responsible for various HR functions, including benefits administration, training and onboarding, wellness and rewards programs, policy implementation, performance management, employee relations, recruitment, and compliance with affirmative action and employment equity regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resource management or a combination of HR and operations experience with increasing levels of responsibility, preferably in the health care industry.
  • Bachelor�s degree with major in or emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field. High School diploma/GED + and commensurate experience will be considered.
  • Successful relationship management skills involving multidisciplinary teams in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Problem Solving/Analysis - Able to use initiative and good judgment to resolve problems and challenges.
  • High level computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, ADP and other systems
  • Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Able to work in a team environment, to work independently, and/or be self-directed while working with a dynamic and changing health care environment.

Preferred:

  • Certification in Human Resource Management � e.g. aPHR, PHR, SPHR Experience
  • Experience supporting multiple teams or multiple locations
  • Knowledge in Oregon and Washington employment rules and regulations
  • Understand and work with HRSA requirements and expectations

Compensation:

  • Salaried/Exempt: Starting at $60,000 annually, increases depending on experience
  • Bilingual Differential: Additionally, we offer $0.75 per hour as compensation for bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Milage Reimbursement: In accordance with OCH policy.
