Job Summary

This role provides HR support with a focus on managing the talent acquisition pre-employment process, maintaining the plant skills database, and ensuring accurate training documentation. It serves as the primary point of contact for hourly production employees while supporting policy implementation, training initiatives, and employee engagement. The position drives a positive new hire experience from pre-employment through orientation and may assist with projects across the Data Center Cooling division. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will occasionally require flexible schedule to help provide coverage for our 2nd shift

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate employee onboarding activities and new hire procedures, including I-9 verification.
  • Owns Talent Acquisition coordination process by assisting recruiters with scheduling interviews when necessary, processing pre-employment background checks, processing, tracking and retaining employee referral bonus payment details, and scheduling new hire orientations.
  • Administers multiple HR processes, including employee length of service awards, audit support, routine data reporting, and assists in managing employee attendance as per policy.
  • Interacts with employees as the first point of contact to answer or properly route questions and escalate as appropriate
  •  Organize, coordinate, and maintain both HR and skills training and development initiatives.
  • Help to drive employee engagement and retention.
  • Participate in the planning and coordination of company engagement activities that create a positive employee experience.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned by manager.
  • Willingness to flex schedule to provide coverage for 2nd shift as necessary

Job Qualifications:

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of Human Resources experience, to include talent acquisition and generalist scope
  • Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills. (written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of federal and state law and general Human Resources concepts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

 

Preferred:

  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience with Workday. (HRIS)
