Compensation: $28.00-$34.00 per hour, depending on experience
Location: In person, El Dorado Hills, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
- Manage full‑cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Lead new‑hire orientation and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Administer performance management and evaluation processes.
- Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and employment laws (wage and hour, safety, and leave requirements).
- Support benefits administration and HRIS data accuracy.
- Assist with training, development, and change‑management initiatives.
- Maintain accurate HR metrics, reporting, and recordkeeping.
- Support initiatives that improve company culture, retention, and employee satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned or otherwise identified.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of HR Generalist experience, including payroll.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
- HR certification and strong knowledge of California labor laws preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn HRIS/ATS systems.
- Experience with Paylocity is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
