Your role as a Human Resources Generalist

As a Full-Time Human Resources Generalist at QNB Bank, your daily responsibilities will include managing employee onboarding processes, ensuring new hires experience a seamless transition into our vibrant workplace. You may conduct employee training sessions, promoting professional development while fostering a culture of learning and excellence. Your role will require you to handle employee inquiries and concerns with empathy and a customer-centric approach, effectively resolving issues and maintaining positive employee relations. You will also assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and company values. Additionally, you will support performance management processes by evaluating and guiding team leads on employee assessments.

To thrive as a Human Resources Generalist at QNB Bank, you will need a strong foundation in human resources practices, particularly with an emphasis on compliance with state and federal employment laws and regulations, including FMLA and EEOC. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with employees at all levels, ensuring that inquiries and issues are addressed with empathy and professionalism. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required, and familiarity with HRIS, payroll, and talent management systems, particularly iSolved, will set you up for success. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are needed to manage various HR responsibilities, from recruiting and interviewing to maintaining compliance documents.

Additionally, your capacity for analytical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict resolution will enable you to navigate complex HR situations effectively. A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is essential, along with one to three years of relevant experience.
