Position Overview
We are seeking a personable and detail-oriented in-office Human Resources Generalist to provide full-spectrum HR support in an administrative and strategic capacity. This role works closely with the C-Suite and reports directly to the HR Director, serving as a key team member in all aspects of Human Resources, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, data management, employee relations, compliance, and process improvement. This role is best suited for an HR professional who has already supported employee relations, onboarding, and compliance in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. It is not an entry-level or HR assistant role.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, coordinating offers, and onboarding new hires.
- Partner with hiring managers to forecast staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and enhance recruitment strategies.
- Monitor and support day-to-day recruitment operations while continuously improving processes and candidate experience.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and leaders, supporting positive employee relations and effective communication.
- Support recognition programs, team-building events, and engagement activities such as holidays, birthdays and anniversaries.
- Foster a collaborative culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
Compliance & HR Administration
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards, including HIPAA, OSHA, and federal/state healthcare requirements.
- Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and documentation as required by the organization and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare and present reports on HR performance metrics, staffing trends, and employee issues to senior leadership.
Strategic HR Support
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to HR projects that enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Director and leadership team as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years of HR experience (1 - 2 years of payroll and/or recruiting experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and recruiting platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with employees at all levels, including executive leadership.
- High level of accountability and commitment to delivering results.
Physical and Work Requirements:
- This is a fully in-office position based in Dallas, TX.
- The role requires regular travel (approximately 25%) to clinics across the DFW metroplex. Reliable transportation is required.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent use of computer, keyboard, telephone, and other standard office equipment.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor appropriate to a healthcare environment.
