The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department and employees in their daily functions, encompassing payroll, employee relations, benefits administration, and talent acquisition.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional with 3–5 years of HR experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service aligned with Superior’s values. Experience with UKG Ready is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support HRIS and payroll functions, including new hire setup, compensation changes, deductions, and benefits updates.
  • Conduct new hire onboarding, reference checks, and orientation.
  • Administer benefits including enrollment, changes, terminations, and vendor communications; assist with open enrollment and benefits communications.
  • Maintain compliance with employment laws (EEO, VETS, FMLA, etc.) and internal policies.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for employee questions related to policies, procedures, benefits, and payroll.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and data within UKG Ready
  • Administer and track the company’s FMLA program.
  • Review benefit invoices; resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Ensure HR practices support a safe, inclusive, and productive workplace.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of generalist experience in a similar work environment
  • UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready) system experience required. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred

Candidates must be available to work on-site, five days a week, as this is a position that requires daily in-office attendance.
