This is a dynamic, hands-on HR role where no two days look the same. As our HR Generalist, you’ll play a key role in supporting our organization through recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and more. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact for HR-related questions while helping foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Job Duties:

Talent & Recruitment

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition efforts

  • Conduct onboarding and coordinate offboarding processes

  • Support training and professional development initiatives

Employee Relations & Support

  • Serve as the go-to resource for HR-related questions

  • Support employees with leaves, benefits, and compensation matters

  • Promote HR programs that foster an efficient, collaborative, and conflict-free workplace

  • Enhance job satisfaction through team-building and engagement initiatives

Benefits & Compensation

  • Administer compensation and benefits programs

  • Maintain and evaluate benefit offerings

  • Direct benefit claims for processing and contract evaluations

  • Educate employees on available benefits

Compliance & Policy

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations

  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies alongside the Mercy Dental Group leadership team

  • Maintain accurate, confidential employee records (electronic and paper)

  • Utilize HRIS systems to manage employee data

Performance & Reporting

  • Support performance management processes

  • Track and analyze HR metrics such as time-to-hire and turnover rates

  • Provide administrative HR support to leadership



Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field

  • 1–5 years of Human Resources experience

  • Strong understanding of HR policies and employment/labor laws

  • Experience with Google Workspace; HRIS experience (e.g., BambooHR) preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving ability

  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism

  • Team-oriented, results-driven mindset

  • Additional HR certifications or training are a plus

Salary:

  • $55,000/yr - $70,000/yr
  • Based on experience

  • Flexible remote work on Fridays
